Lead projects to improve government healthcare agencies through policy, process and systems innovation.  Worked with Commissioners in Florida, Texas and Mississippi.  In Arkansas, worked with a legislative task force to assess the impact of the Affordable Care Act, and redesign a new approach for the State.  In Florida, led a team to develop data analytics tool that prioritizes case work for Medicaid and other benefits.  In Mississippi, recommended over 100 systems and process improvements the State is now implementing. In Texas recommended nearly 200 systems, policy, training and process improvements.  The state has made great headway on the recommendations and is now entering year two of the resulting statewide “transformation” program led by the Commissioner.

Together with a Boston University professor, wrote a patent for a unique method of storing data in a fault tolerant manner across many different computers.  Obtained initial venture capital funding and launched the company.
